Brandy Speas is a New Jersey native, currently residing in Lancaster County, PA. She is a Millersville University graduate with a bachelors degree in Education. She holds PA certificates in Early Childhood Education, grades pre-k to fourth; Special Education, grades kindergarten to eighth; Technology, grades kindergarten to twelfth; and a Integrative STEM methods endorsement. She is working toward her masters in Applied Behavior Analysis. Brandy teaches Emotional Support at the middle school level within Eastern Lancaster County School District. She has several years experience working with children ages infant through middle school with STEM concepts including her own son, Brandon Jr. Her education, experience and activities with her son are inspiration for almost all of the STEM activities she has written featured in STEM Starts Now.
